Brad Wixen
Brad Wixen obtained his B.A. in cultural anthropology from UCLA in 1986. At UCLA, he was the recipient of The President’s Undergraduate Fellowship Award for an experiment he designed testing subjective time perception. This was published in The Journal of Perceptual and Motor Skills. He then attended The Machon Shlomo Yeshiva in Jerusalem Israel studying talmudic law until 1988. Thereafter, he attended Loyola Law School obtaining his J.D. in 1990. While at Loyola, Brad published an article discussing informed consent in an international journal, The Journal of Legal Medicine. Brad’s background before coming to work at Hinden and Breslavsky was on behalf of the insurance carrier’s defending against claims of workers compensation. He worked at Jacobs and Solomon until 1998. He also worked for Klein and Testan until 2000. Thereafter, he was a senior associate at Stockwell, Harris, Widom and Woolverton until “switching sides” in 2007. Brad has lectured extensively to insurance carriers around the state on issues pertinent to workers compensation. He brings valuable experience from “the other side” to the applicant’s practice.
